THE RENARD ENSEMBLE

The Renard Ensemble were recently selected as Joint Winners of the Tunnell Trust awards for the season 2011/2012, and are very much looking forward to working with the Tunnell Trust. 
They have performed public recitals at many venues around the South-East, including at the Taste London Festival in June, and the Serenata Classical Music Festival in Dorset in August 2010 and are proud to have been selected for Live Music Now! 2010.  The Renards were privileged to be invited on the Tunnell Trust Blair Atholl Showcase 2010 - a week of intense coaching from world experts including William Bennett OBE and Neil Black OBE, followed by three concerts at which they performed Mozart, Muczynski and Devienne. SCOTTISH TANGO ENSEMBLE

The Scottish Tango Ensemble was formed in 2009 and is a collaboration of four dynamic musicians based in Edinburgh and Glasgow. They cover all styles of tango music from the classic Salon and Milonguera repertoire through to the Nuevo Tango associated with Astor Piazzolla. The ensemble give varied recitals, often incorporating dancers and soloists into their programmes as well as playing for Milongas and Tango Balls. Click here for further information.

THE BEATSON PIANO TRIO

Highly regarded as a distinctive and accomplished musician, Scottish pianist Alasdair Beatson continues to make an impact on the classical music scene. This season sees his fourth solo recital at Wigmore Hall, concerto appearances with the Poznan Radio Chamber Orchestra "Amadeus" and Finland's Tapiola Sinfonietta, appearances in festivals in Perth (Schubertiad), Belgium (Resonances), Virginia (Charlottesville), and the Spring release of his second solo CD, featuring piano music of Mendelssohn on SOMM Recordings.  Click here for further information.

BartoszAt the age of 22 Bartosz Woroch was appointed Concertmaster to the Poznan Philharmonic Orchestra. He left this position in 2008 to pursue his interest in solo and chamber music. As a chamber musician and member of the award winning Cappa Ensemble, he has given recitals at Wigmore Hall, Barbican, the Palais des Beaux Arts (Brussels), Radio France Festival (Montpellier), the Edinburgh Fringe, Verbier and West Cork Chamber Music Festivals. Further afield he has toured New Zealand, Australia and Singapore. In 2009 he received the Irish Music Network Scheme Award.

Philip Higham is rapidly emerging as one of the most prominent young cellists from the UK as his recent competition success, winning 2nd Prize at the prestigious 2010 Grand Prix Emanuel Feuermann Competition in Berlin, confirms.   In 2008 he won 1st Prize in the International Bach Competition in Leipzig and in 2009 1st Prize in the Lutoslawski Competition in Warsaw followed by recitals at Lake Maggiore, the Bachwoche and Leipzig BachFest.

Sax Ecosse is a young, vibrant saxophone quartet which has enjoyed considerable success as a chamber ensemble throughout the the UK and Europe. They were recipients of the Enterprise Music Scotland Residency Project  2008/09, and are alumni of the prestigious Live Music Now scheme founded by Yehedi Menuin.  Sax Ecosse are passionate advocates for original repertoire for saxophone quartet and have successfully introduced this exciting and engaging music to numerous audiences throughout music clubs and festivals. Recent performances range from Emerging Artist Series at the Usher Hall, Edinburgh, to recitals at 14th World Saxophone Congress in Slovenia and the St Olav’s Festival in Norway.  Click here for further information.
